YOGASSVA - roots from the composition of the two words Yoga and Sva. The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yui meaning to bind, to join or to yoke. It also means union. In Yoga philosophy, everything is permeated by the Supreme Universal Spirit of which the individual human spirit is a part.

The system of yoga emphasizes on 'union' because it teaches the means by which the individual soul can be united with the cosmic soul and so secure
wholeness and liberation.

The discovery of 'Sva' - one's Own or one's innate Self, is fundamental to following the path of Yoga. Like the unfolding fern frond, the practice of Yoga
unfolds, step by step, the different layers that cover each human being's true, divine nature.

With determination and faith in our own inner guide one reaches the goal of being totally unfolded, truly happy, healthy and full of wisdom and love.
